At MOTORSKILLS, we aim to provide a professional, friendly and relaxed environment in which to learn to drive. We have been teaching people to drive since 1995 and our instructors use modern, clean, Dual Controlled cars.
We also use the DSA DRIVERS RECORD BOOKLET.This is a personal 'diary' showing what driving you have done. In this way you know where your strengths and weaknesses are and what you have remaining to do. This ensures a methodical and planned approach to the teaching process.
All of our instructors are fully qualified and display the badge illustrated below to show that they are approved and registered by the Driving Stadnards Agency (DSA). This shows that the instructor has taken and passed three rigorous exams to demonstrate that they can teach accurately, methodically, enthusiastically and to the level appropriate to the individual pupil. Furthermore, they periodically have to take further tests to ensure that these high standards are maintained. |

The ROADVISION system is now available if you want to use it. Two cameras located discreetly at the front and rear of the car record your driving. Then, if you are not sure of how you dealt with a certain situation whilst you were driving we can play it back to you!....We can even burn the whole lesson onto a DVD so you can watch it at home. So, if you've just driven through a complex roundabout or other situation and it all happened so quickly then you can watch it back again without having to concentrate on controlling the car. |

It can also be useful for 'Hazzard Perception' training because the camera at the front records your driving in much the same way as when you go to do your hazzard perception test.
As you're learning the manoeuvres the system can help too. The wide angle camera at the rear will give you a 'birds eye' view of what is happening at the back of the car, so that when you have done it you can watch it back again and see how well you did it...or if it needs 'tweaking'! |
